KEEP INDOOR PADEL COURTS comfortably COOL & VENTILATED
Discover how Breezair evaporative cooling creates a cooler, fresher playing environment for new and existing indoor padel facilities.
Play Cool. Play Longer.
THE SMART WAY TO COOL INDOOR PADEL
Indoor padel facilities generate heat quickly. With active players, large open spaces and growing demand for year-round comfort, creating the right playing environment is becoming an important part of facility design. Breezair uses natural evaporative cooling to deliver fresh, outside air while using significantly less energy than traditional air conditioning.

How Does Evaporative Cooling Work?
Evaporative cooling works by drawing fresh outdoor air through water-soaked cooling pads. As the air passes through the pads, it is naturally cooled before being supplied into the building. At the same time, warm, stale air is displaced through existing openings or extraction points.
Unlike traditional air conditioning, evaporative cooling continuously introduces cooled outside air rather than recirculating indoor air. This makes it particularly well suited to large, open sports facilities where maintaining airflow is just as important as reducing temperature.
Why Evaporative Cooling is ideal for padel facilities
Indoor padel facilities are high-occupancy environments where maintaining airflow is just as important as reducing temperature.
Unlike traditional air conditioning, evaporative cooling continuously introduces fresh outdoor air while helping to remove warm, stale air from the building, creating a cooler and more comfortable playing environment.

Do evaporative coolers pose a risk of legionella?
Properly maintained evaporative coolers will not transmit the bacteria because they do not produce aerosols. Evaporative coolers should not be confused with cooling towers or evaporative condensers, which involve different technology. Evaporative air conditioner water temperatures are much lower which prohibits the growth of legionella. Secondly, in a high quality evaporative cooler, water is drained from the unit when it is not being used, so there is no standing water that could rise to ambient temperature. Above all, well designed evaporative air conditioners do not produce aerosols, meaning that even if bacteria were present in the cooler, there is still no mechanism that could transfer the bacteria to humans. Moreover, there are no recorded cases of this technology causing Legionnaires’ disease and research indicates transmission of the bacteria is not possible by the evaporative cooling method.

How much energy does a Breezair Evaporative Air Conditioner use?
You will be surprised at how little power it uses – much less than conventional air conditioners. Using only water and low energy motors, running costs can be 80% less than conventional types.
Can evaporative cooling be used in commercial and industrial settings?
Evaporative cooling is one of the most efficient solutions for cooling large industrial and commercial spaces, where traditional air conditioning often isn’t feasible due to high capital investment and running costs.
In industries with significant heat loads—such as printing, ceramics, glass, rubber, and electronics—many facilities lack an effective cooling system. This can lead to reduced productivity, lower employee morale, and potential health concerns. Evaporative cooling offers an ideal solution in these scenarios, providing efficient and cost-effective cooling.
In addition, many industrial environments have specific areas that become uncomfortably hot due to equipment like machines or ovens. Instead of cooling the entire space, targeted evaporative cooling units can be deployed to create a flow of fresh, cooled air, providing relief in these localised hot spots.
